Construction crews are completing one floor weekly, with concrete work finished up to the 26th floor and walls extending to the 29th floor. The hotel tower has grown 100 meters in height over the past 100 days, with plans to top off by December 2025.
The resort will feature 1,542 rooms and suites, with 1,121 guest room structures (73%) already completed. Interior work is underway in 820 rooms, including walls, floors, ceilings, and mechanical systems. The project currently employs 9,100 construction workers and utilizes over 100 concrete trucks daily.
This development follows the historic gaming license approval from the General Commercial Gaming Regulatory Authority (GCGRA), marking the first such permit in the Arab world. The property will maintain Wynn's signature approach, with gaming occupying only 4% of the total space.
Key amenities will include:
- 15,000-square-meter luxury shopping promenade
- Five-star spa and salon
- 7,500-square-meter meetings and events center
- Theater for entertainment experiences
The UAE casino market is projected to become the world's fourth-largest, with potential annual gross gaming revenue of $5 billion across up to four venues. The Al Marjan Island location offers strategic advantages, being within an eight-hour flight of 96% of the global population.
