A 37-year-old man suffered a gunshot wound to the head and remains in critical condition at New York-Presbyterian Queens Hospital. The second victim, age 42, was shot in the cheek and is also receiving treatment at the same facility.

The NYPD is searching for three suspects, described as possibly Hispanic males, who fled the scene in a white SUV with front-end damage. A female may have also been in the vehicle. The shooting was reported around 9:20 p.m., and the suspects remain at large as of Monday.

Local business owners report that several underground gambling operations exist in the area. While violence is uncommon in these establishments, this incident has sparked fear among residents. One local business owner expressed concerns about safety, stating plans to relocate due to dangerous conditions in the neighborhood.

Police are currently reviewing surveillance footage to identify the suspects and have cordoned off the area as they continue their investigation.
