A Las Vegas bus driver lies in critical condition after a hit-and-run incident, with police closing in on a suspect thanks to a crucial piece of evidence left at the crash scene.
Erika Bruce, an Arrow Stage Lines charter bus driver, was struck while driving on Interstate 15 around 2 a.m. on Sunday, January 5, approximately 15 miles outside Primm, Nevada. The collision forced her vehicle into a ditch, leaving her with life-threatening injuries.

The hit-and-run driver left behind a critical clue - their license plate number (66552N3) was imprinted on Bruce's vehicle due to the force of impact. California Highway Patrol has identified a person of interest and expects to announce an indictment soon.
Despite her injuries, Bruce managed to call 911 from the crash site. She was rushed to University Hospital in Las Vegas, where she remains on life support. According to her daughter Tyana Samuel, "the chances of her waking up are slim to none."
