Royal Caribbean has implemented significant changes to its Club Royale casino rewards program, primarily affecting how complimentary cruises are awarded to members.

The main changes include:

  • Most free cruises now only cover the primary guest, with a required "discounted cruise fare" for companions
  • Single travelers must still pay the companion rate for double occupancy staterooms
  • Members with 3,000+ tier credits still receive fully comped trips for two
  • Point threshold for comped cruises reduced from 2,500 to 1,500 points
