Rabona.com, a UK-based online gambling platform, has filed a $1.6 million lawsuit against Mike Tyson in London's High Court, claiming breach of contract over his brand ambassador duties.

The dispute centers around a February 2024 agreement where Tyson was supposed to provide monthly livestreams on Rabona's Twitch and Kick channels, playing casino games and sharing stories from his boxing career. The deal also included Tyson-branded bonuses for platform users.

According to Medier, Rabona's parent company, Tyson and his company Tyrannic terminated the agreement in March 2024, coinciding with the announcement of his Netflix fight with Jake Paul. The fight reportedly earned Tyson $20 million.

Tyrannic disputes these claims, stating that Medier breached the contract multiple times, forcing them to terminate the agreement to protect the Tyson brand's reputation.

The controversy extends beyond the Rabona lawsuit. A separate class-action lawsuit has been filed in Florida regarding Netflix's streaming quality during the November 15 Tyson-Paul fight. Viewers reported the stream was "unwatchable" due to technical issues, leading to accusations of breach of contract and deceptive trade practices.

The fight itself, which ended in Paul's victory over a visibly rusty Tyson, received widespread criticism for failing to meet viewer expectations despite significant promotional hype.
