Max Verstappen secured his fourth consecutive F1 Driver's Championship at the Las Vegas Grand Prix, joining an elite group of only six drivers to achieve this milestone. Despite finishing fifth in the race, Verstappen's championship was secured by finishing ahead of McLaren's Lando Norris, who placed sixth.

George Russell claimed victory in the Las Vegas Grand Prix, leading a Mercedes one-two finish with Lewis Hamilton crossing the line 7.3 seconds behind. Ferrari secured the next two positions, with Carlos Sainz Jr. taking third and Charles Leclerc fourth.

Verstappen's achievement puts him alongside Alain Prost and Sebastian Vettel with four championships, trailing only Lewis Hamilton and Michael Schumacher (seven each) and Juan Manuel Fangio (five).

"To stand here as a four-time world champion is something I never thought would be possible," Verstappen reflected during the post-race press conference at the Bellagio. "This season taught me a lot of lessons and we handled it well as a team."

The Las Vegas Grand Prix, in its second year, transforms the Strip into a 3.8-mile racetrack. While benefiting major casinos, some local businesses, including Ellis Island, report significant revenue losses due to months-long access restrictions.

In the Constructor's Championship, Red Bull Racing currently sits third behind McLaren and Ferrari, with Mercedes in fourth. The season concludes with two remaining races: the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix on December 15 and the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix on December 22.
