A veteran coach with 26 years of experience across FBS, FCS, and Division II levels, Jason Eck brings his proven record of success to the University of New Mexico as head football coach.

Under Eck's leadership, the Idaho Vandals achieved three consecutive FCS playoff berths, including back-to-back quarterfinal appearances. His most recent season saw the Vandals post an impressive 10-4 record with victories over Mountain West opponents Wyoming and Nevada.
