Gambling Disorder Screening Day takes place on the second Tuesday of March (March 11, 2025) during Problem Gambling Awareness Month. Since its establishment in 2014, this international initiative has helped identify individuals worldwide who may need assessment for gambling disorders.

The annual screening event aims to detect gambling-related problems early, as many cases often go undiagnosed due to limited assessment. Gambling Disorder can cause severe financial, emotional, social, occupational, and physical harm to individuals and their families.

Organizations can easily participate using the free Screening Day Toolkit, which includes:

  • Customizable screening day flyer
  • BBGS e-Screener (Brief Biosocial Gambling Screen)
  • Educational article "What Is Gambling Disorder?"
  • Additional resources for staff and patient education
