A deadly shooting at an alleged underground gambling establishment in Queens, New York, has claimed the life of 37-year-old Yun Li. The victim, a Flushing resident, succumbed to his injuries on December 23, four days after being shot in the head during a failed robbery attempt.

The incident occurred on December 19 in a Haight Street building's basement. A second victim, age 42, was shot in the cheek but survived after receiving treatment at New York-Presbyterian Queens Hospital.

The NYPD is currently searching for three suspects who fled the scene in a white SUV with possible front-end damage. A woman was also reportedly seen in the vehicle. The case has been classified as a homicide, and the suspects could face murder charges.

Local residents report that underground gambling operations are common in the neighborhood, though violent incidents are rare. The shooting has sparked concerns about safety among community members, with some considering relocating due to the incident.
