DraftKings launched a new $20 monthly subscription service called DraftKings Sportsbook+ that offers enhanced parlay betting odds for users. The service, currently available only in New York, provides unlimited "Stepped Up" boost tokens that can be applied to parlays and same game parlays within 30 minutes of subscribing.

Subscribers can receive up to 100% profit boosts on winning parlays with 11 or more legs, making DraftKings the first sportsbook to introduce a subscription-based odds enhancement service. The program quietly launched on December 28, 2023, in New York.

The initiative appears to be a strategic response to high state tax rates, particularly New York's 51% sports betting tax. DraftKings CEO Jason Robins had previously indicated the company would explore alternative approaches in high-tax jurisdictions.

Parlay betting has seen significant growth, with Flutter Entertainment (FanDuel's parent company) reporting over 262 million 'Same Game' bets placed globally in Q4 2023—a 75% increase from the previous year.

DraftKings stated the service aims to "offer our customers an enhanced fan experience, creating more excitement and value to our extensive parlay offering." The company has not yet announced plans for expansion to other states.
