The first theft occurred on August 17, when victim Ye Zaw was surrounded and jostled while exiting a restroom. The second incident took place on September 15, when Roman Loyfenfeld was targeted on the dance floor. Both victims discovered their watches missing shortly after being confronted by the suspects.
Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department (LVMPD) identified the suspects through surveillance footage and facial recognition technology. On November 22, Fontainebleau security guards spotted and apprehended Milton Castillo Martinez, Laura Vargas, Briyith Munoz, and Johan Hernandez. All four were charged with grand larceny and conspiracy to commit grand larceny, with a court appearance scheduled for January 22.
According to police reports, the thefts showed careful planning and coordination, with suspects deliberately creating diversions to remove the watches from victims' wrists.
In a separate incident at the Fontainebleau, alleged sex worker Koncina Brisbon, 30, was arrested for stealing a $125,000 Rolex watch, $2,000 in cash, and $500 in casino chips from a hotel guest on May 19. The theft allegedly occurred after Brisbon drugged the victim's drink at the Bleau Bar.
The Fontainebleau has stated that guest safety and security remain their highest priority.
