CONFUSION ON THE STRIP: Vegas's Cheapest Restaurant Has Near-Death Experience
Ocean One Bar & Grille, known as the Las Vegas Strip's most affordable restaurant, has reopened after a brief closure scare. Located in Planet Hollywood's Miracle Mile Shops, the establishment is famous for its $5.99 lunches and budget-friendly dinner options.

On Friday, customers arrived to find the restaurant locked with an eviction notice on the door, and its name temporarily removed from the Miracle Mile website directory.

The situation seemed dire, especially considering Ocean One had already closed all six of its South Florida locations in January, with the Las Vegas location being the last remaining establishment in the chain.
The restaurant is renowned for its incredibly low prices, offering:
- Half-pound sirloin burgers
- Mexican wings
- Tortilla salads
- Specialty cocktails (3 for $12, including Cosmopolitans, Blue Hawaiians, and Tequila Sunrises)
By Saturday, Ocean One announced its reopening on Facebook with a brief apology for the inconvenience. The restaurant's name returned to the Miracle Mile website, and its daily customer counter showed 233 visitors by Monday morning, confirming normal operations had resumed.
While management hasn't provided details about the temporary closure, the swift reopening suggests a last-minute resolution to what appeared to be a rental dispute.
