The Venetian Resort Las Vegas and Hyatt Hotels have announced a long-term licensing partnership that will integrate the luxury resort into Hyatt's booking system and rewards program.

Beginning in early 2025, World of Hyatt members will be able to earn and redeem loyalty points for stays at The Venetian, while elite members will receive additional on-property benefits. The resort will become accessible through Hyatt's website and mobile application, exposing it to Hyatt's 40 million loyalty program members.

This partnership replaces The Venetian's previous arrangement with IHG, which concludes in January 2025. The new agreement extends beyond standard hotel benefits, as both companies plan to collaborate in the MICE (meetings, incentives, conferences, and exhibitions) sector, leveraging their respective strengths in group business.

The deal follows Hyatt's recent expansion in Las Vegas, including the addition of the Rio Hotel & Casino to World of Hyatt in late 2023. This strategic move helps fill the void left by Hyatt's terminated partnership with MGM Resorts International in mid-2023.

While financial terms remain undisclosed, the partnership aims to capitalize on the proven success of casino-hotel rewards programs, similar to the profitable alliance between Marriott International and MGM Resorts International. The collaboration will also provide elite Venetian Rewards members with future benefits within the World of Hyatt program.
