Core Responsibilities:
- Conduct statistical modeling and quantitative analysis for player evaluation and development
- Communicate research findings effectively to Baseball Operations staff
- Design actionable research projects
- Support department members with technical expertise
- Collect and analyze in-game data
- Perform ad hoc baseball operations analysis
Required Qualifications:
- Strong background in mathematics, physics, statistics, computer science, or engineering
- Advanced computational abilities
- Problem-solving experience
- Creative research approach
- Programming knowledge (R, Python, and/or Stan preferred)
