Sick New World 2025 Music Festival in Las Vegas Officially Canceled

A blockbuster Las Vegas festival has been canceled, with promoters citing "unforeseen circumstances" as the reason for its demise. Sick New World, scheduled for April 12, 2025, at the Las Vegas Festival Grounds, has been permanently canceled, disappointing fans who were anticipating performances from headliners Metallica and Linkin Park, each reportedly commanding $5 million fees.

Festival organizers announced the cancellation on their website, promising automatic refunds within 30 days for tickets purchased through Front Gate Tickets. The festival, which debuted in 2022 with System of a Down headlining, leaves questions about its future return unanswered.

"Josh Groban: Gems" will run for five nights: May 9, 10, 14, 16, and 17. Tickets go on sale December 6 at 10 a.m. PT, with various presales starting December 3 for fan club and Citi card members.

AC/DC fans can mark their calendars for April 26, 2025, when the legendary rock band returns to Vegas as part of their first US tour since 2016. The show at Allegiant Stadium will feature Stevie Young on rhythm guitar, replacing his late uncle and band co-founder Malcolm Young. Tickets become available December 6 at noon PT through Ticketmaster.
