Sex Offender Charged After Driving Vehicle Off Casino Parking Garage in Mental Health Episode
A driver faces criminal charges after deliberately crashing his vehicle off the seventh floor of Bally's Evansville Casino & Hotel parking garage in Indiana. The incident occurred last Monday when Jeremiah Oldham allegedly pushed through a concrete barrier in a restricted area and drove off the structure.

The vehicle landed upside down on the casino's Executive Conference Center's roof, causing over $50,000 in damage and triggering a significant water leak. Oldham survived with non-life-threatening injuries.
Court documents reveal Oldham has a history of mental health issues, including diagnosed psychosis. He recently stopped taking prescribed medications and expressed paranoid beliefs about people trying to kill him. A November probation report noted he had refused medical treatment and was found in possession of weapons despite being prohibited due to his status as a registered sex offender.
Prior to this incident, Oldham served 78 months in prison following a 2011 conviction for possession of child pornography in Kentucky.
The casino and garage were temporarily evacuated but reopened after investigation. No other injuries were reported, and emergency crews removed the vehicle within nine hours. Oldham now faces charges of criminal recklessness and criminal mischief.
