A vehicle crashed through the top floor of Bally's Evansville Casino & Hotel's parking garage on Monday morning, landing on the Executive Conference Center's roof and causing partial structural damage.

The driver managed to exit the vehicle unassisted after it fell from the seventh floor and landed upside down on an escalator in the conference center. One person was reported injured in the incident, which occurred while a conference was in progress.
Emergency responders, including the Evansville Fire Department's structural collapse team, quickly evacuated the affected areas and confirmed all casino staff and security personnel were accounted for. They also shut off water flow from a major leak caused by the impact.
Initial assessments revealed no structural collapse in the parking garage itself, though a section of the western wall was missing. The incident prompted local authorities to divert traffic around the area.
Local residents noted on social media that the parking garage had been under construction for an extended period, with upper levels previously closed to vehicles. The Evansville Police Department continues to investigate the incident.
