The National Council on Problem Gambling (NCPG) has announced a significant leadership change, with Executive Director Keith Whyte stepping down effective January 13, 2025.

Nancy Green, FASAE, CAE, will serve as Interim Executive Director. Green brings extensive nonprofit leadership experience, having recently served as Interim Executive Director for the American Sustainable Business Network.

Board president Susan Sheridan Tucker expressed gratitude for Whyte's contributions while emphasizing the organization's continued focus on reducing gambling harm through awareness and advocacy efforts.

Green commented on her appointment, stating that operational excellence and mission focus will remain paramount during the transition period. She emphasized that NCPG's critical work in reducing gambling-related harm will continue uninterrupted through their dedicated staff, board, and stakeholders.

The Board of Directors plans to conduct a national search for a permanent Executive Director later this year.

The National Council on Problem Gambling serves as the nation's only nonprofit organization dedicated to mitigating gambling-related harm, maintaining a neutral stance on legalized gambling.
