A large-scale search operation is underway in the Nevada desert for 17-year-old Jennaleah "Jenna" Hin, who left her Henderson home on Monday following a family dispute.

Search efforts are concentrated in the Sloan Canyon National Conservation Area, spanning approximately 10 miles, after a tracking dog initially detected her scent near the Paradise Hills neighborhood. Multiple agencies are involved, including local police departments, DEA agents, and Red Rock Search and Rescue, utilizing helicopters, drones, horses, and off-road vehicles.

Hin left without essential supplies - no phone, money, credit cards, food, or water. Mark Speer, Red Rock Search and Rescue commander, expressed growing concern as survivability becomes increasingly challenging after 72 hours without sustenance.

The missing teen is described as an exemplary student with no history of running away. She stands 5'5", weighs 163 pounds, and has black, waist-length hair. She was last seen wearing a black Under Armour hoodie, black sweatpants, and black and white Nike shoes.

Her parents, devastated by her disappearance, made emotional pleas for her return. "I love you. We just want you back. Our home is broken without you," said her stepfather, Corey Swanson. Her mother, Jennifer Swanson, added through tears, "Jenna wherever you are, whoever you're with, I just want you to come home."

The straight-A Foothill High School student had plans to attend nursing school in the fall. Authorities continue to work with her friends and boyfriend to locate her, while community volunteers join the ongoing search efforts.
