Live! Casino Pittsburgh, one of Pennsylvania's four mini-casinos, has marked its fourth anniversary with significant upgrades and new amenities. The casino, which opened in October 2020 following a $150 million investment by Cordish Companies, has established itself as the state's top-performing satellite gaming venue with $131.6 million in gross gaming revenue for 2023.

Recent improvements include:

• A new 1,600-square-foot Social Club events space
• Relocated poker room moved to the main floor
• New high-limit gaming lounge featuring three table games and dedicated bar
• Total investment of $7.5 million in upgrades

As a Category 4 casino, Live! Pittsburgh operates under specific regulations:

• Maximum 750 slot machines and electronic gaming devices
• Up to 40 table games (after paying a $2.5 million fee for 10 additional tables)
• Only mini-casino to utilize the table game expansion option

The property continues to perform strongly, though Hollywood Casino York slightly outperformed it in table game revenue last year ($16.6 million vs. $16.3 million). The casino's success validates Cordish Companies' larger $700 million investment in Pennsylvania gaming, which includes Live! Casino & Hotel Philadelphia.

General Manager Sean Sullivan emphasized the casino's commitment to community partnership and providing a world-class gaming experience through these latest improvements.
