In May 2024, the suspect allegedly threatened another woman with a firearm at a Buffalo Wild Wings parking lot after a dispute over cutting in line. During this incident, she grabbed the victim, brandished a weapon, and damaged the victim's vehicle. She was subsequently arrested and charged with battery and drawing a deadly weapon.

On November 25, prior to the fatal shooting, the suspect was reportedly driving recklessly on Las Vegas Boulevard in a silver Subaru WRX. A taxi driver reported her weaving through traffic and causing a collision near the Bellagio Hotel & Casino. The erratic driving continued through a construction area set up for the Las Vegas Grand Prix.

The shooting occurred following a road rage incident near the Palazzo at The Venetian Resort. The victim, identified as 50-year-old Uber driver Michael Wilmot, approached the suspect's vehicle and was shot. Though armed himself, Wilmot collapsed before he could respond.

Thirty minutes after the shooting, another driver reported a similar vehicle driving dangerously on U.S. 95, nearly causing accidents. Police later located the suspect at her Las Vegas residence near Washington Avenue and Torrey Pines Drive.

While the suspect has been questioned by the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department (LVMPD), she hasn't been arrested for the shooting. The Clark County District Attorney's office is currently reviewing the case to determine if the shooting was an act of self-defense.
