
High 5 Games Faces 1,065 Criminal Charges After Connecticut License Suspension
The Connecticut Department of Consumer Protection Gaming Division has suspended High 5 Games' license and charged the company with 1,065 criminal counts of conducting illegal gaming activity in the state.
According to investigators, High 5 Games operated an unlicensed online casino platform called High 5 Casino while holding a license to provide slot content to legal gaming platforms in Connecticut. The illegal operation accepted deposits from over 1,100 Connecticut customers, resulting in:
- 911 customers losing a total of $937,938
- 108 self-excluded players losing nearly $300,000
- Each criminal count carries up to one year in jail and $2,000 in fines

DCP Commissioner Bryan T. Cafferelli emphasized that only DraftKings and FanDuel are licensed to accept online casino bets in Connecticut. The department will seek restitution for affected customers.
High 5 Games responded by stating they have "always upheld the highest regulatory standards" throughout their 30-year history. The company expressed commitment to:

- Cooperating with Connecticut regulators
- Resolving the matter while preserving gaming license integrity
- Continuing to provide content to partners in a safe, reliable way
