The PWHL has demonstrated strong viewership since its launch, with 2.9 million viewers watching the inaugural game on New Year's Day 2023. The league set an attendance record when 19,285 fans watched the "Battle on Bay Street" between Toronto and Montreal at Scotiabank Arena on March 3.

The league consists of six teams:

  • Boston Fleet
  • Minnesota Frost
  • Montreal Victoire
  • New York Sirens
  • Ottawa Charge
  • Toronto Sceptres

Through this partnership, FanDuel will offer expanded betting options including:

  • Player prop bets
  • Novelty markets
  • Same Game Parlays
  • Expansion team predictions for 2025-2026

"This partnership is about creating a new era of fan engagement—one that brings hockey closer to fans while helping grow the visibility of women's professional sports," said Dale Hooper, General Manager of FanDuel.

The deal joins an impressive roster of PWHL partners, including major brands like Canadian Tire, Scotiabank, Air Canada, Bauer, CCM, and Tim Hortons. While other sportsbooks offer varying levels of PWHL coverage, FanDuel's comprehensive partnership positions them as a leader in supporting women's professional sports.

The PWHL's new season begins tomorrow, featuring the Sceptres hosting the Fleet and the Victoire hosting the Charge, with discussions of potential league expansion already underway.
