Fanatics Fest 2025: NYC Sports Convention Returns with 500+ Athletes and Celebrities

Fanatics Fest, the sports industry's equivalent to Comic-Con, will return to New York City's Javits Center from June 22-25, 2025. The second annual event promises to be significantly larger than its 2024 debut, featuring over 500 athletes and celebrities.

Fanatics CEO Michael Rubin announced plans to enhance the event with:

  • Additional interactive experiences from major leagues and teams
  • Increased opportunities for fan-athlete interactions
  • Exclusive product releases
  • Expanded trading card and collectibles marketplace with 250+ dealers

The 2024 inaugural event attracted more than 70,000 attendees who interacted with 300+ celebrities and athletes. While successful, some attendees expressed concerns about high-priced autograph sessions, with some celebrity signatures costing over $1,000.
