Ex-Cleveland Casino Poker Dealer Charged with Multiple Gaming Violations and Theft
A former poker dealer at JACK Cleveland Casino faces criminal charges for allegedly stealing chips from gaming tables. Jason Saliba, 51, has been charged with 14 counts of violating casino gaming laws and theft after being reported by an observant casino visitor on September 6.
Casino surveillance footage review led to Saliba's termination on September 7. The total amount stolen was reportedly less than $1,000, with multiple thefts occurring within a one-month period.

In a separate incident at the same casino, Ellis Quinn, 62, from Memphis, was arrested for allegedly cheating at craps in July. Quinn reportedly won $5,080 by placing additional bets after dice rolls. He had previously been banned from casinos in Ohio and Pennsylvania due to prior cheating convictions.
In other casino crime news, a woman was robbed of her purse containing cash in the parking lot of Hard Rock Casino Rockford in Illinois on Thursday. The suspect fled the scene, and no injuries were reported. Casino security and local police are reviewing surveillance footage to identify the perpetrator.
The Hard Rock Casino stated that no weapons were involved in the incident and expressed confidence that their technology and cooperation with law enforcement would lead to the suspect's swift identification.
