Security footage captured Sierra breaking into the funeral home, wheeling out a coffin, and dumping both the body and casket in the front landscaping before fleeing the scene. The incident occurred at approximately 3:30 a.m. on August 27, when police responded to a 911 call reporting a body outside the facility at 2127 W. Charleston Blvd.

Sierra was arrested two days later when someone recognized her at a convenience store. According to her arrest report, she claimed to have no memory of the incident after consuming six beers, noting that she frequently experiences blackouts when drinking. The report indicated she was apologetic and had no malicious intent.

Under a plea agreement signed by Judge Tara Clark Newberry on December 5, Sierra will receive probation and must complete a drug treatment program administered by the Clark County District Court. The program includes electronic monitoring and random drug testing. If Sierra violates her probation terms, she faces a minimum one-year prison sentence.

Originally charged with burglary, grand larceny, and disturbing human remains, Sierra remains in custody while awaiting her first treatment session.
