Dent Makes UNM History in Lobos' 100-81 Victory Over Texas A&M-Corpus Christi

Donovan Dent made UNM basketball history with 25 points and 10 assists without a single turnover as the Lobos dominated Texas A&M-Corpus Christi 100-81 at The Pit. This marks only the fifth 25/10 game in program history and establishes Dent's record third career game with 10+ assists and zero turnovers.

The undefeated Lobos (3-0) showcased their improved roster depth, with Kayde Dotson contributing a career-high 18 points off the bench. Four other players reached double figures: Tru Washington (15), Mustapha Amzil (12), and Nelly Junior Joseph (10). Atiki Ally Atiki added 9 points with a career-high 5 blocks.

After a tight 9-9 start, New Mexico took control with a 17-2 run, followed by a 20-3 surge to build a commanding lead. Though the Islanders (1-2) cut the deficit to nine points early in the second half, the Lobos responded with a decisive 10-0 run and maintained control throughout.
