The deceased female was found in the desert east of Desert Sunflower Circle, approximately 17 miles southeast of Las Vegas. A passerby spotted the body and alerted authorities, who arrived at 10:42 a.m.

Henderson Police Detectives indicated no signs of foul play in their preliminary investigation. The Clark County Coroner's Office will officially identify the deceased and notify next of kin.

Prior to this discovery, search efforts had intensified due to concerns about survivability in the desert without food or water beyond 72 hours. Hin had left her residence following a routine family dispute, taking no supplies or cell phone with her.

The search operation involved:

  • Multiple police departments
  • Drug Enforcement Administration agents
  • School police officers
  • Red Rock Search and Rescue
  • Search dogs, helicopters, and drones
  • Volunteers on horses, motorcycles, and off-road vehicles

Hin was described as an exemplary student at Foothill High School in Henderson, maintaining straight A's and aspiring to attend nursing school. She had no previous history of running away or encounters with law enforcement.

The investigation remains ongoing, with authorities withholding additional details at this time.
